Rita Ora, 30, says she's in a 'very happy place' with boyfriend Taika Waititi, 46,

British singer Rita Ora has spoken out for the first time about her hot new romance with Thor director Taika Waititi.

Appearing on KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O Show on Thursday, the 30-year-old was probed about her new relationship with Taika, 46, after they found love in Australia. 

The Anywhere singer tried to keep mum on the subject but admitted that she’s in a  ‘very happy place’ at the moment.

‘I’m dying over you two being a couple. Is he just the most fun guy ever?’ host Jackie O quipped. 

‘Thank you so much, well I think, it was such a great place, Australia, the sun was shining and it was just natural,’ Rita began. 

She added: ‘And I’m just in a very happy place.’

Jackie then tried again to get more details out of Rita, but Rita switched the topic to her love of Australia, after she spent months Down Under to film The Voice. 

‘Are you in one of the best places you’ve been in a long time?’ Jackie said.

Rita then spoke about Australia, saying: ‘I want to come back. I’m trying my hardest to figure it out… I really fell in love.’

She then said she hopes to maybe move to Australia on a ‘part-time’ basis.   

Rita flew into Sydney in February to film The Voice, then left for LA in early June.

The 30-year-old singer walked hand in hand with the actor-director, 46, who plays Starro in the film, as they aired their romance to the world.  

The pair first sparked romance rumors back in April after she shared a photo of the Jojo Rabbit director throwing his arms around her neck, though his face was shielded by a baseball cap.

Both were in Australia at the time as Rita was filming The Voice and Taika was in the process of filming Thor: Love And Thunder.

A source told The Sun that the pair had been secretly dating since early March. ‘They’ve been a couple since early March but kept things low key. However, all their friends know about the relationship – they’re really into each other.’
