The Queen’s family have rushed to be with her after her first stay in hospital in eight years, the MailOnline has found. MailOnline, published photographs of the Queen’s son Prince Andrew, and her granddaughter Lady Louise Windsor enjoying a horse ride around the royal residence.

Royal doctors advised the 95-year-old monarch to be seen by specialists in London on Wednesday afternoon after she was forced to cancel her Northern Ireland visit.

A spokesperson for Buckingham Palace said: “Following medical advice to rest for a few days, The Queen attended hospital on Wednesday afternoon for some preliminary investigations, returning to Windsor Castle at lunchtime today, and remains in good spirits.”

It is believed the medical team acted out of caution to have her admitted on Wednesday.

However, according to the Times a source close to the Queen, said: “She is knackered.”

Despite recent reports, Her Majesty was back at her desk on Thursday after spending the night in hospital on Wednesday evening.

The Queen was determined the message from Windsor should be “business as usual”.

The Queen has spent a lot of time at Windsor including during the final months of Prince Philip’s life before he died in April 2021.

Lady Louise, 17, was recently praised for her involvement in the documentary on BBC One to commemorate the life of the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip, who tragically passed away just a few months before his 100th birthday on April 9.
