Jackie O Henderson has pre-emptively addressed rumours she is set to star on the new season of Celebrity MasterChef.
Minutes after Channel Ten announced the 2009 format would be making a return, the 46-year-old recalled being approached for producers for the original series.
‘I’m sure they’ve done a Celebrity MasterChef before… Unless they just asked me and it never eventuated?’ she told her Kyle and Jackie O Show co-host Kyle Sandilands on Tuesday.

The mother-of-one didn’t rule herself out for the upcoming second season, scheduled to air later this year, but admitted it would be a struggle.
”I would be terrible on that show. Every time I watch it I think “God. I wouldn’t know what to do with those ingredients.”
‘Because sometimes they really throw you a curve ball – you’ve just got a box of things that don’t even make sense. And they always cook these incredible meals.
Kyle agreed Jackie would be an awful contestant, noting that the only thing she can cook well is scrambled eggs.

Jackie laughed and said she’d just ‘bring them sludge, every time!’

Channel Ten confirmed they are reviving the 2009 celebrity format in an Instagram post on Tuesday: ‘Get ready… Celebrity MasterChef is coming.’
Following the announcement, judge Jock Zonfrillo revealed a ‘sports star, a famous actor and an Australian icon’ will be among the cast.

‘Celebrity MasterChef 2021!!! A legendary sports person, an Aussie icon and a famous actor are ready to don a MasterChef apron and face the heat of the famed MasterChef kitchen,’ he wrote on Instagram.
‘Cannot WAIT for this!! Coming very soon.’
On Monday, The Australian revealed the network was looking to revive Celebrity MasterChef in lieu of last year’s Junior MasterChef, which delivered poor ratings.

The report claimed Network 10 had ‘secretly commissioned’ another season of Celebrity MasterChef last month, with the series set to air at the end of the year.
The show is currently in the casting stages of production, with filming set to begin in just a few weeks.
High on their casting wish list is model Lara Worthington (née Bingle) and former Minister for Foreign Affairs Julie Bishop.

Casting producers are also reportedly chasing sports stars, local politicians and Hollywood actors currently based in Australia.
Celebrity MasterChef last aired on Network 10 back in 2009, and featured the likes of Michelle Bridges, Rachael Finch, Josh Thomas, Kirk Pengilly, Alex Perry, and winner Eamon Sullivan.
Rumours first emerged in April that 10 was planning on reviving the series, with New Idea reporting that the show had received ‘the go-ahead’.
According to New Idea, MasterChef judges Andy Allen, Melissa Leong and Jock Zonfrillo would still front the Celebrity version.
