When asked about seeing people dressing up as Shiv for Halloween, she agreed with Meyers that it was ‘high praise,’ but added it isn’t a tough costume.

‘But isn’t it the easiest Halloween costume ever? It’s just donning a red wig Bob sort of thing and putting on a turtleneck and high waisted pants,’ Snook joked.

‘I mean, I’ve got the red hair but I can’t wear turtlenecks or high waisted pants anyway because I look like I’m on Halloween costume,’ she added, which Meyers compared to, ‘an athlete wearing his uniform out.’

Season 2 ended on quite the cliffhanger back in 2019, with the show renewed for a third season though production was severely delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

When asked about the excitement swirling around this highly-anticipated third season, Snook reveals she’s just as excited as the fans.

‘Oh, yeah, totally and also, the anticipation that I’ve been feeling from between work, like, being shut down, and then waiting to work and, like, wanting to know what happens next, finally getting to know what happens next, I know that anticipation, so like, I sympathize, and getting to see the episodes finally myself.

She added, ‘I’m a big fan of the show as well because, you know, we don’t get to see what Greg and Tom does. Or we don’t get to see what Bryan’s doing with all the other scenes you know, I love getting to watch the show as well.’

Snook was born in Adelaide in South Australia, but she did spend some time living in Brooklyn, as she spoke about living in the beloved borough.

‘I love it. I love Brooklyn. It’s like, I don’t know, Brooklyn is like little brother to Manhattan, or like the Australia to America,’ she said.

Succession is set within the powerful Roy family, who run a massive media conglomerate, with Shiv and her siblings Roman (Kieran Culkin), Kendall (Jeremy Strong) and Connor (Alan Ruck) all working below their father Logan (Brian Cox).

Shiv is Logan’s only daughter and tried to steer clear of her family’s business for most of her career, instead entering the political sphere.

She landed a job as advisor to presidential candidate Gil Eavis and struggles with commitment, even asking husband Tom for an open relationship on the night of their marriage.

However Logan enticed Shiv into the family business in season two and she steered her father towards her older brother Ken when he revealed they needed ‘a blood sacrifice’ in the show’s finale.

Shiv’s loyalty appeared to lie with her father Logan over brother Ken when the season came to an explosive close in 2019.

Since a lot of the show features the siblings being quite mean to one another, and when asked if she had a favorite co-star to be mean to, she immediately said Kieran.

‘He’s also super mean just to be fun. To you. You know, that’s the way he shows love,’ Snook said of her co-star.

She also shared a story from the second episode, following the pilot, where she had to film a scene where she wrestled with Culkin.

‘Yeah, well, we had to like fight, like wrestle and — yeah, I mean, this is like the first episode back in the first season shooting, and we had to wrestle,’ she said.

She added the stunt coordinator was teaching them to, ‘do it properly so we don’t hurt each other, when Kieran had an idea.

‘And then, finally, Kieran is like, ‘Can I just slap you it’s going to be easier.’ And I’m like, ‘Okay, sure. For this one, fine,” she added.

She said that when he slapped her, there was, ‘a sibling kick that happened and just went for him,’ but she added he knows a lot more about wrestling than she does.

‘And then, he knows WWE for some reason, he’s a tiny little wrestler and he’s just obsessed with watching it and he just knew how to do all the hold so I thought I was winning for a while, but then, like, he got me up against the wall and like pulled me down,’ Snook added.

She added they used that take in the episode, because you could see something in her eyes, ‘like some little thing that goes like… It’s like a little fly swat or something. Get away from me.’

The actress also mentioned she came across a term her character Shiv might use called, ‘Yoga babble,’ which is, ‘the encompassing word for bulls**t.’

Her co-star Matthew McFadyen was on the show recently, who said their co-star Bryan Cox, ‘He seems irascible but I’m sure he’s sweet.’

Snook said, ‘He’s irascible, no, he’s lovely. He’s a big teddy bear. He loves being loud and rambunctious.’
