‘So I think that’s the most defining moment for me and I think that was a big part of why I am on this course,’ she added.

The actress added that she was struggling in the competition and experiencing feelings of failure.

‘Honestly I’ve been struggling. I have been, obviously you can see, just trying to switch my brain off,’ she said.

‘Rejection’s a big thing in what I do. We do auditions on a daily basis and we get knocked back all the time.

‘I remember going for Neighbors and I auditioned three times and I didn’t het until the fourth time. So, for me, if you get knocked back, you just get back up again, it’s as simple as that. You just fight harder,’ she added.

In 2019, Bonnie pleaded guilty to failing to inform authorities her then partner Matt Arnautovic was driving her car when he sped away from police in 2017.

Her lawyer Rainer Martini said his client had shown ‘misguided loyalty’ in covering up for her troubled then-boyfriend.

‘At the end of the day it was a misguided relationship,’ he told the court.

Arnautovic was charged with dangerous driving in relation to the same incident, and was placed on a community corrections order after pleading guilty on April 2.

At the time he had been living with Ms Anderson in east Melbourne and driving her Blue Subaru Imprezza.
