    Filming is well and truly underway on Stan’s Original Series, The Tourist.

    On Monday, Jamie Dornan and co-star Shalom Brune-Franklin were spotted shooting dramatic scenes in Adelaide.

    The Fifty Shades of Grey star, 39, dressed in blue jeans, a brown T-shirt and sported a rugged beard as he filmed scenes at a motel in the suburb of Frewville.

    Shalom wore blue jeans, a striped T-shirt and green jacket as she joined Jamie on set.

    The Line of Duty actress, 26, was seen standing at the door and eating a pear before returning back into the room.

    In the six-part thriller, Jamie’s character is known as ‘The Man’ and is pursued in the Australian outback.

    His character is driven off the road by a tank trunk and ends up in hospital.

    Upon waking, he struggles to make sense of his identity as those from his past continue to hunt him down.

    Jamie will star alongside Danielle Macdonald as Helen Chambers, a fledgling Probationary Constable, and Shalom, who is set to play Luci, a waitress who’s swept into The Man’s journey for answers.

    Damon Herriman has replaced Hugo Weaving’s role as Agent Lachlan Rogers. Hugo pulled out of the project due to scheduling issues.

    Jamie previously said of the role: ‘The Tourist are some of the most exciting scripts I’ve ever read. I can’t wait to go to Australia with such a talented group of people.’

    He is best known for playing Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise, and for his star turn in TV series The Fall.
