    Sigourney Weaver looked chic at the premiere of The Good House at the Toronto International Film Festival on Wednesday.

    The 71-year-old actress flashed a wide smile while gracing the red carpet in a well-tailored suit in a deep, burnt orange shade.

    Adding a bit of contrast, the alien star donned a mint-shade turtleneck top underneath.

    Development on The Good House was initially announced in September of 2019.

    The feature is centered on Weaver’s character, Hildy Good, a realtor who is also a descendant of the witches of Salem, Massachusetts.

    The businesswoman’s life is thrown into disarray after she reconnects with an old flame and becomes involved in another figure’s personal affairs.

    The film also features performances by Morena Baccarin, Kevin Kline and Rob Delaney, among others.

    Weaver talked about the period-era piece with The Hollywood Reporter, saying: ‘We don’t have films about women in the 60s who are telling you what’s going on in their lives.

    ‘That’s a voice in film we don’t often hear from. Also, she’ll be so funny, and she takes us, the audience, into her confidence,’ she said. 

    ‘I felt that there were so many things going on in the film that made it relevant and very timely to people,’ she said.

    She also called it a ‘joy’ to reunite with Kline, who she also acted with on the 1993 rom-com Dave. 

    ‘It was just a joy to act with him again. I trust him so much and I think he trusts me. It was just like we were on wheels and let go,’ she said.
