Strictly Come Dancing couple AJ Odudu and Kai Widdrington leave It Takes Two filming together

Their on-screen chemistry on Strictly Come Dancing has sparked romance rumours. 

And AJ Odudu, 33, and her professional dance partner Kai Widdrington, 26, were in high spirits as they left It Takes Two filming at Elstree Studios together on Friday. 

The presenter beamed as she wheeled her suitcase along the road in a heart-print tracksuit and colourful trainers.

AJ looked stylish in the dusty blue tracksuit which she paired with white Nike trainers with neon green, yellow and pink details. 

She kept off the chill in a long-line padded jacket as she wheeled her bag along the street ahead of Kai. 

The Strictly contestant looked radiant as she beamed at cameras with her hair in braids. 

Meanwhile, Kai sported a pair of black skinny jeans and a graphic T-shirt, which he layered underneath a black and white jacket as he followed behind AJ.

The outing comes after insiders have claimed to The Mail On Sunday that AJ and Kai are an item.    

A source on the BBC One show said AJ and Kai had made no effort to keep a secret of the fact that they had fallen for each other during intense, gruelling training sessions. 

However, they haven’t been struck by the show’s infamous ‘curse’ because both of them are single.

Kai who made his Strictly debut this year, is said to have been ‘floored’ by his partner, who is best known for co-hosting Channel 5’s spin-off Big Brother’s Bit On The Side.

In an audio clip on Strictly’s Instagram account recorded after a performance, Mr Widdrington, who once turned down a football career with Southampton, was heard whispering: ‘I love you, I love you so much.’

The source said: ‘Kai thinks AJ is sexy. They have this lovely romance going on, things have definitely changed in the last week or so and they are inseparable, not just as dance partners but away from that, too.

Contestants: Dan Walker and Nadiya Bychkova looked similarly upbeat as they arrived for It Takes Two filming together 

Stunning: While Dan bundled up in a tracksuit, Nadiya pulled out all the style stops in knee high boots, tailored shorts, a chic grey jumper and an oversized blazer. 

‘It’s nice to see a Strictly romance where there is no curse, just two people who have fallen head over heels for each other.

‘Those involved in the show have been watching this closely over the weeks and have thought this was always on the cards. It’s lovely.’

AJ admitted last week that they had ‘chemistry’, adding: ‘There is a lot of passion… a lot of romance, it’s thrilling.’

A Strictly spokesman declined to comment on their relationship.
