Strictly's AJ Odudu and Kai Widdrington do little to quash romance

Strictly’s AJ Odudu and Kai Widdrington did little to quash ongoing romance rumours as they were spied leaving BBC studios on Monday evening. 

The TV presenter, 33, and her pro partner, 26, departed filming for the show’s sister programme It Takes Two together where the former blew kisses to the latter. 

Looking sensational in a pink silk pyjama suit, AJ focused her attention on the pro dancer as she walked away from him while aiming affections his way.

AJ looked stunning in her elegant ensemble comprising the silk striped two-piece while her hair and make-up were perfectly applied. 

Kai meanwhile was dressed to impress, opting for a double breasted suit with a white shirt and matching tie as he gazed at his rumoured flame.  

Their latest appearance comes just days after AJ gushed that ‘nothing will top’ meeting her professional dance partner and rumoured beau Kai for the first time, as the pair made a joint appearance on The One Show on Friday.  

During their interview, AJ was asked about her highlight of being part of the show.

She said: ‘Oh my gosh, all of it. But I think nothing will ever top meeting Kai for the first time, us just getting on like a house on fire.

‘And coming out on the Strictly ballroom, doing the Jive and I was so shocked with everyone’s positive comments, like there’s no feeling like it. It was amazing.’

It comes after insiders claimed to The Mail On Sunday that AJ and Kai are an item.

A source on the BBC One show said the pair made no effort to keep a secret of the fact that they had fallen for each other during intense, gruelling training sessions.

The source said: ‘Kai thinks AJ is sexy. They have this lovely romance going on, things have definitely changed in the last week or so and they are inseparable, not just as dance partners but away from that, too.

‘It’s nice to see a Strictly romance where there is no curse, just two people who have fallen head over heels for each other.

‘Those involved in the show have been watching this closely over the weeks and have thought this was always on the cards. It’s lovely.’
