Strictly Come Dancing star Katya Jones reportedly threatended to quit her role on the show after landing in the dance off with partner Adam Peaty.
The professional dancer, 32, is believed to be convinced that the ‘public have it in for her’, after the dance couple were eliminated from the show last Sunday.
Katya is apparently disappointed that she hasn’t finished past the half way mark since she was crowned champion with Joe McFadden in 2017.

The Russian native is reportedly worried that the backlash from her kiss with partner Seann Walsh in 2018 is affecting her scoring with the public.
The source said: ‘It’s no secret that that kiss did not go down well with some viewers and Katya thinks it’s still affecting her results.
‘There was a tantrum backstage when she found herself in the dance-off and she was again saying it was because the public have it in for her. There was talk of quitting the show but no one wants her to do that.’

A Strictly spokesperson categorically denied these allegations.
A spokesperson for Katya said: ‘This is completely and categorically untrue. Strictly means everything to Katya and she looks forward to many more years there.’
The allegations come after Katya shared a glam snap on Thursday, captioned: ‘She’s been through more than you’ll ever know.
‘But that’s what gives her beauty an edge. You can’t touch a woman who can wear pain like the grandest of diamonds around her neck.’

Following their exit from the programme, Adam’s mother Caroline took to Twitter to claim that the voting on the show was fixed in favour of the BBC stars who compete.
Insiders claimed that Katya was devastated because she felt Adam had the potential to get all the way to the final, while his mum clearly felt the same.
It was a clean slate for Katya, who was forced to leave the show last year when she contracted coronavirus while partnered with Nicola Adams.
Katya and Nicola left the show after just three weeks, marking Katya’s earliest ever exit from the ballroom show.
On Sunday only head judge Shirley Ballas voted to save Katya and Adam and her last four finishes have been 11th, 8th, 10th and 9th.
Afterwards Katya is said to have suffered a ‘furious backstage meltdown’ over the low marks handed to her and her celebrity partner.
A source told The Sun that ’emotions spilled over’ and Katya ‘was absolutely furious during filming not just because the dance hadn’t gone as well as they hoped but by the low marks they received.’
The pair were eliminated from the competition during Sunday’s results show after receiving a low mark of 27 points for their jive, which put them bottom of the leaderboard, while the Strictly judges voted to save Tilly Ramsay, 20, and partner Nikita Kuzmin, 23, following the dreaded dance off.
Meltdown: Katya Jones suffered a ‘furious backstage meltdown’ over the low marks handed to her and her partner Adam Peaty on Saturday’s Strictly Come Dancing, according to reports
A source told The Sun: ‘Both Katya and Adam were in tears after a week in which they’d thrown their all into getting the routine right.
‘And though it hadn’t gone perfectly, both of them were shocked at being at the bottom of the scoreboard and finding themselves in the dance off after the public vote. So getting shown the door on Sunday was utterly devastating.’
According to the report, professional dancer Katya was allegedly ’emotional after their performance on Saturday’ and her feelings ‘spilled over’ shortly before they were eliminated.
A Strictly source told MailOnline: ‘Emotions often run high on Strictly as no one wants to go home and Katya and Adam were sad that their Strictly journey might be coming to an end.
‘It was clear on the results show that they were visibly upset to leave the competition but they are both in good spirits now.’
Reports of Katya’s alleged ‘meltdown’ come after Adam’s mum Caroline claimed on Twitter the BBC show is a ‘total fix’ and the public vote is inaccurate.

Caroline took to Twitter and made the comments after her son and his professional dance partner Katya were eliminated.
Adam also took to social media and hit out at ‘the people who tried to bring us down’ while he was on the show and told them to ‘do better’.
After their elimination, Caroline tweeted: ‘Such an amazing partnership and Katya you have taught my baby boy to dance, thank you. Total fix and I’m not buying the public vote. ‘

Reaction: One fan replied to Caroline to say that ‘someone had to go’ and she was doing Adam a ‘disservice’ by hitting out at the show
She was also unhappy earlier to see Adam land in the bottom two, writing: ‘What a total farce, neither Tilly or @Adam_peaty deserve to be in the dance off!’
One fan replied to Caroline to say that ‘someone had to go’ and she was doing Adam a ‘disservice’ by hitting out at the show.
They wrote: ‘This isn’t the Olympics, it’s an entertainment show where people vote based on what they like. Someone had to go.
‘Adam’s been fantastic and achieved so much to get this far. You’re doing him a great disservice by calling it a farce and knocking the remaining contestants.’
Caroline replied: ‘Everyone is entitled to an opinion, I have watched this show for the first time and I have seen with my own eyes that the judging is not consistent or fair, not just with Adam either! And just so you know I am a kind person.’
A representative for Strictly Come Dancing declined to comment when contacted by MailOnline.
Adam previously gave a strong message to those who speculated on his ‘near kiss’ with Katya in October.
Fans were sent wild as they were convinced that the pair ‘nearly kissed’ at the end of their racy Argentine Tango.
He tweeted: ‘To everyone who wants to see what they want, your comments have real life consequences. I will not be overcome or lowered by your gossip. Protect your energy.’
Adam performed the sexy routine to Tango in the Night by Fleetwood Mac alongside pro dancer Katya.
As the dance came to an end, Adam dipped Katya back and leaned in with his lips close to hers, but the sportsman appeared to lean in closer once again as they stood up before pulling away, leaving viewers believing he initially intended to kiss his partner.

Adam’s girlfriend Eirianedd Munro shared a video on TikTok as she reacted to the dance with a clip of herself pretending to cry alongside the caption: ‘Watching your boyfriend almost kiss another woman on live TV’.
She then threw her head back in mock anguish and added a second caption that read: ‘Finding out 10 million people also watched it live’.
The remaining couples will take to the dancefloor next when Strictly Come Dancing returns on Saturday 13th November at 6:40pm, with the results show on Sunday 14th November at 7:20pm on BBC One.
