Taryn Manning ends her engagement to fiancée Anne Cline and 'moves on with new boyfriend'

Taryn Manning and her fiancée Anne Cline have reportedly ended their engagement.

The 42-year-old Orange Is The New Black star and the singer–songwriter parted ways in late August, TMZ reported on Saturday.

Despite her recent breakup, the actress has reportedly already started up a new relationship with a man.

According to the publication, Taryn and Anne had tried to workout their differences, but ultimately decided they weren’t compatible.

The engagement was short-lived, as the two only got engaged in mid-June. 

An insider close to the Karen star claimed she only accepted Anne’s proposal because the singer ‘put her on the spot’ with her public proposal.

Anne had been performing at a bar and grill in Panama City, Florida, when she jumped off the stage and got down on one knee among the crowd to propose to Taryn.

The Sons Of Anarchy actress was initially left speechless, but she eventually said ‘yes’ to the ring Anne presented.

According to the source, Taryn realized the relationship wouldn’t work out long-term after getting engaged, so she initiated the split.  

Fans initially guessed that the two had parted after they both stopped following each other on their social media accounts.

The two had only been together for about three months at the time they got engaged, as they were first linked back in March of this year. 

Since the split, Taryn has apparently already started a relationship with a new man.

Sources told the publication that he was featured in a photo she shared to Instagram about a week ago, though she appears to have quickly deleted the post. 

The new couple reportedly met on set, as he works in production, though it’s unclear which project they worked on together. 

Taryn is best known for starring as the alternately lovable and infuriating character Tiffany ‘Pennsatucky’ Doggett for seven seasons on the prison-set Netflix series Orange Is The New Black.  

More recently, she appeared as a racist white woman terrorizing her Black neighbors in the BET thriller Karen.

In an interview for Mr. Warburton magazine from earlier in September, she revealed that she was ‘attacked a lot by white women who felt that I had betrayed my own race.’

However, she defended the film, which some viewers on social media criticized as a rip-off of Jordan Peele’s horror film Get Out.
