    Taylor Swift praised Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brien on Thursday for their work in her short film directorial debut.

    ‘They acted their a*ses off,’ said Taylor, 31, of Sadie, 19, and Dylan, 30, during an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers.

    Taylor wrote and directed the short film All Too Well based on her 2012 song of the same name and also stars in it with Sadie and Dylan.

    All Too Well will be released Friday afternoon on YouTube and a premiere will be held also in New York City. 

    The singer has also included a new 10-minute version of All Too Well on her just released Red (Taylor’s Version) album.

    Taylor has been re-recording her old albums after she was unable to buy her master recordings.

    Discussing the upcoming short film, Taylor told Seth that she was ‘blown away’ by the performances of Sadie and Dylan.

    Taylor said Sadie and Dylan were the only two people she considered and she approached Sadie first.

    ‘If [Sadie] had said no, I wouldn’t have made the film,’ said Taylor who made her first short film after previously directing some of her music videos.

    Taylor said Red (Taylor’s Version) features songs from the vault that she wrote that didn’t make the original album.

    She also reached out to some of her favorite artists to collaborate, including Phoebe Bridgers, Chris Stapleton and Ed Sheeran.

    Taylor said that Phoebe, 27, was one of her favorite singers ‘in the world’ and she approached her because she needed another female artist for a duet.

    ‘Her response was, ”I’ve been waiting for this text my entire life”,’ Taylor shared.

    Taylor will be the musical guest on the upcoming episode of Saturday Night Live with Jonathan Majors, 32, as host.
