The Bachelor: Juliette Herrera channels indie cool as she steps out with new boyfriend

Former Bachelor star Juliette Herrera went public with her new boyfriend Alessandro ‘Alex’ Del Conte in July.

And the couple looked loved up on Monday as they made the most of Freedom Day by going for a maskless walk in Sydney’s CBD.

Juliette, 32, swapped her usual glamorous aesthetic for an indie-cool style that was clearly influenced by her tattooed beau.

The pair held hands as they walked down the footpath, before stopping to kiss while waiting for their Uber ride home.

The stylist was almost unrecognisable compared to her stint on The Bachelor last year as she swathed her figure in an oversized white T-shirt with an edgy print.

She completed her look with baggy black trackpants and sneakers.

Alex wore a plain white T-shirt underneath a half-unbuttoned black shirt.

He rounded out his casual look with white pants and colourful sneakers.

Juliette went Instagram official with Alex in July, revealing they had been secretly dating for three months after meeting at a bar in Sydney.

‘I’m so happy and excited for once,’ she told Daily Mail Australia at the time.

‘I think I may have found The One. Alex is the kindest, sweetest dude – and he is quirky like me.’

‘He is Italian and works as a professional cocktail bartender at the Hyatt [hotel], and studies fashion design,’ she added. 

Juliette said that after a string of failed short-lived relationships – some of which she claims were abusive – it feels good to finally be in love again.

Charmed: ‘He never knew I was on The Bachelor. I showed him clips of who I was just to try to scare him off with my colourful personality, but it won him over instead,’ she laughed

Sydney-born Juliette nearly made it to the end of Locky Gilbert’s season of The Bachelor last year.

She was finally sent home on episode 11, after asking the adventure tour guide why he hadn’t shown her much attention.

Nurse Irena Srbinovska, 31, eventually won the show and is still dating Locky.
