But Laura O’Loughlin is anything but heartbroken after she went Instagram official with her new boyfriend over the weekend.

The speech pathologist, 28, shared a photo on Saturday of herself looking smitten alongside her beau, a carpenter named Scott.

She beamed as she posed for a car selfie with Scott.

‘Real life human boyfriend, he’s a sweetie pie,’ she wrote alongside a heart emoji.

‘Laura is happy back in her normal life,’ a friend told Daily Mail Australia on Monday.

‘She’s been dating Scott for about three months. He is more her type,’ they added.

It comes weeks after Laura was left feeling ‘hurt’ after Jimmy, 31, chose not to kiss her during their single date together.

‘He didn’t want to kiss her,’ a source told Daily Mail Australia last month.

‘Laura was especially heartbroken because he made some stupid excuse like, “I’m not going to kiss you; I’ve been kissing too many girls and my family is not happy.”‘ 

According to the source, Laura felt Jimmy wasn’t being honest with her because she was the only contestant not to get a kiss after landing a single date.

‘She felt like she was just there for the comedic value of the show and Jimmy didn’t care about her at all. It was sad,’ they said.
