The Block’s Ronnie and Georgia Caceres post cryptic comment about ‘lying’ and ‘manipulating’ co-stars – after calling out rivals Tanya and Vito Guccione for being ‘fake’

Georgia Caceres has lashed out again at her co-stars on The Block: Fans v Faves.

The returning Block favourite left a lengthy caption on a post shared to her joint Instagram account with husband Ronnie on Wednesday night.

The cryptic comment about ‘lying’ and ‘manipulating’ seemed to be aimed at rival couple Tanya and Vito Guccione, with whom they’d clashed on that night’s episode.

The post began: ‘Love us or hate us, what you see on camera is what you get off camera.

‘We’re super proud of the game we’re playing; competitive, honest and fair. There’s so much to get done in a week on @theblock… lying, manipulating and bitching are just not on the “to do” list in House 1.’

‘Targeted lies to tear someone down is a low blow! Just be better,’ she concluded.

The cryptic post came after tensions reached an all-time high on Wednesday’s episode.

Georgia called out Tanya for being ‘fake’ after she sent her a gift during the kitchen renovations.

Tanya and Vito had decided to send all the other contestants a fruit hamper to wish them luck – but it seems their rivals weren’t quite ready to forgive them after the infamous whiteboard cheating scandal.

Georgia and Ronnie weren’t impressed by the gift and accused the Gucciones of not being ‘authentic or genuine’.

‘So it was interesting this afternoon when we received a fruit basket from Tanya and Vito as a gift,’ Ronnie said.

‘I don’t understand why they are giving us gifts. The messaging is confusing because if we were on the street, Tanya would walk past me and ignore me,’ Georgia added.

‘Just be who you are – with cameras on and cameras off. Just be genuine, authentic, and organic and you’ll get more out of life. That’s where I’m at,’ she continued.

Mitch Edwards and Mark McKie were also unimpressed and returned Tanya and Vito’s gift.

A producer walked into the stylish grandads’ home as they were renovating, holding the fruit hamper.

‘Hey, Mark. I have a hamper from you. This is a gift from Tanya and Vito. Good luck with kitchen week. Everyone is getting one,’ she told them.

‘No, thank you,’ Mark said firmly, to which the producer replied: ‘You don’t want it?’

‘No, thank you. No,’ he said again, before returning to work.

The Block teams were evidently still annoyed at the Gucciones – and Tanya in particular – after they were implicated in a cheating scandal early in the season.

Tanya admitted weeks ago to having been sent a photo of the show’s production schedule, which gave her an advantage over the other contestants.

She and Vito weren’t the only team punished for rule-breaking, with Josh and Luke Packham also being docked two points for exploiting the schedule.
