Tommy Little left his co-hosts in fits of laughter on The Sunday Project, as he rolled out a crude joke about his co-host Hamish Macdonald’s manhood during the show.
The 36-year-old presenter was discussing the latest headlines in a comedic segment, before blurting out the nickname Hamish is apparently known by behind-the-scenes.
‘Everyone knows Hamish’s nickname is the elephant,’ Tommy boldly said, with the admission leading the rest of the panel to burst into laughter.

‘Corby, you know why he’s nicknamed “the elephant”, right?’ Tommy said to his host Rachel Corbett.
With a sly smile, the bewildered host responded: ‘Yes, I do.’
Tommy then explained exactly how he had bagged such a nickname, pointing out: ‘I should tell you it was in impression he used to do, which involved folding his pockets inside-out so they looked like ears!’

The rest of the panel continued to laugh in the background, as Tommy continued his segment on the latest sports news.
Hamish only recently returned the The Project on Friday and Sunday nights, after his abrupt departure from ABC’s Q+A.
He told the Sydney Morning Herald last month that his comeback to the Channel Ten program is a ‘genuine privilege’.

‘Tommy [Little], Carrie [Bickmore], Lisa [Wilkinson], Waleed [Aly], Pete [Helliar], they are genuinely my friends. They’re people I talk to all the time’.
