‘I went in there with a clean slate and I am learning so much day-by-day,’ he said.

While he has yet to add any acting credits to his IMDb profile, his cheeky character and love of doing ‘impersonations’ was a good start for him to get into the role.

‘I guess I’ve always been a bit of a class clown and I loved impersonations so it feels kind of natural for me to jump into a character,’ he shared.

Matt is set to play Theo Poulos – the troubled nephew of long-time Summer Bay resident Leah Patterson, played by Ada Nicodemou.
