Today host Allison Langdon reveals the one thing she does on air that infuriates viewers – and even her own mother has complained about it

She has been instrumental to the Today show’s resurgence.

But despite her popularity with viewers, co-anchor Allison Langdon says there’s one thing she does on air that some people just can’t stand.

The Channel Nine presenter, 42, told TV Week ‘a lot of people’ – including her own mother – had complained about her singing.

But Allison, who co-hosts Today with Karl Stefanovic, said she won’t stop crooning on camera because it brings her ‘so much joy’.

‘I’ve had a lot of people writing in to tell me to stop singing – including my mother,’ she told the magazine.

‘But it brings me so much joy! I think some people think I believe I’m a good singer.

Allison is known for breaking into song on air, and even performed impromptu carols last year in the lead-up to Christmas.

While her vocal talents leave much to be desired, they probably aren’t bad enough to justify viewer complaints.
