Tottenham respond to Harry Kane £160m transfer bid from Man City with clear stance

Tottenham have responded to Manchester City’s reported £160million to sign Harry Kane. The England captain indicated in May that he wanted to leave Spurs after growing tired of not challenging for trophies.

That alerted the attention of clubs all over Europe with Kane still seen as one of the best strikers in world football.

City have seemingly been leading the race for his signature and reports emerged on Friday that they’ve now approached Tottenham with a bid worth £160m.

Pep Guardiola is desperate to bring in a replacement for Sergio Aguero and Kane would be the perfect solution after he scored 33 goals and provided 17 assists in all competitions last season.
