There are just five days for potential candidates to apply to become the permanent digital communications officer for the household of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

In comparison, the Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer has just 1.1million followers, Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has 1.4million and ex-Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage has slightly more on 1.6million.

The job description adds: “The Household believes that the diversity of modern society is its greatest asset.
