Their new Clean Air Zone Vehicle Scrappage scheme is now open for applications and could see drivers paid a small fee towards the cost of a new car.

In return for exchanging a vehicle, drivers could receive up to £2,000 to be spent on a new vehicle or as free credit on public transport services.

The £10milion Scrappage Scheme aims to support those who earn less than £30000 and rely on city entre travel in their daily lives.

Kevin Cartwright, General Manager of Motorway Birmingham and Oldbury said there were “hundreds” of moles available which were compliant under the new Clean Air Zone.
