Kate Beckinsale showcases her lithe physique in a black crop top while carrying her Pomeranian

She often posts comical pictures of her beloved pets on social media.

And Kate Beckinsale looked nothing short of sensational as she shared a snap of herself in a black crop top while carrying her Pomeranian Myf down a hallway. 

The actress, 47,  recreated a photo of Mickey Rourke carrying his own pet pooch with a brown handbag and camo trousers.

For her snap, Kate sported a pair of snake print trousers while she added height to her frame with black boots.

The Underworld star carried a black bag while she added to her outfit with a pair of sunglasses.

Styling her brunette locks into a bun, Kate completed her look for the photo with a white sports bra. 

On Sunday, Kate shared a hilarious video of her cat Clive ‘flying a plane’ as she travelled on a private jet with her pets.

The film star convinced one of the pilots on the plane to join in with her joke as he he says ‘Alright Captain, where are we going to today?’ and the camera pans to reveal Kate’s cat in the cockpit.

Clive looked completely disinterested in his new role as pilot while Kate could be heard giggling in the background.

In another clip, Kate showed her much-loved cat staring out the window of the plane watching the clouds go by. 

She also posed for a picture in front of the jet alongside her fellow cast members from her latest TV show Guilty Party, which was shot in Calgary, Canada.

It appears Kate, along with co-stars, is jetting off to shoot more of the series after their stint in the Canadian city.

Kate, who is the daughter of the late Richard Beckinsale, of Porridge fame, shot to stardom after landing her first major film role in Much Ado About Nothing in 1993 but her cat often steals the show.

In another hilarious clip, posted on Instagram on Thursday, Clive wiggled his arms to the King Bee track, Back By Dope Demand, while Kate held him up.

The actress sat on a kitchen floor and her four-legged friend perched in between her legs while the classic hip hop record blared in the background.

The Persian cat was clearly a fan of the song as he moved his arms in sync to the beat and looked up, appearing to be entranced by a video of the song. 

She thanked her furry pal for their participation as she wrote online: ‘I just really appreciate a joiner inner.’ (sic)

Kate is the mother to two feline friends called Willow and Clive, in addition to her Pomeranian.
