Gary Lineker has shared a rare snap of his step-daughter Ella, 19, after they had a heartwarming reunion in Boston, USA, where she is studying at University.

The Match Of The Day host, 60, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a snap of the teen after ‘finally’ being able to visit following the relaxation of US travel restriction.

Ella is the daughter of Gary’s second wife Danielle Bux, 42, whom he split from in 2016, with Gary recently vowing to never marry again following the breakdown of the marriage.

Gary’s post sees Ella, whom Danielle shares with her ex, former footballer Adam Willis, standing by a wall in front of autumnal foliage as she posed for a snap.

He captioned the image: ‘Finally able to travel to Boston to visit my wonderful step daughter Ella, who’s at BU.’

Gary married Ella’s mum Danielle in 2009, but they divorced in 2016.

She went on to marry partner Nate Greenwood, with whom she shares four-year-old daughter Romy.

He maintains that he and the Welsh model are still ‘best mates’, telling The Mirror previously: ‘We still speak three times a day, we text all the time.’

The former footballer is also father to sons George, 29, Harry, 27, Tobias, 25, and Angus 23, from his first marriage to Michelle Cockayne.

Meanwhile, Gary appeared to be enjoying his time in Boston as he also shared several images of the Massachusetts city.

It comes after Gary revealed earlier this month that he doesn’t think he’ll get married again and feels done with the concept of matrimony after tying the knot twice already.

The ex-England footballer admitted he isn’t interested in romance and hadn’t been on a date for months as he felt his ‘testosterone levels drop’.

He told The Sun: ‘I’m not sure I’m asexual as such — no matter how old you are, a beautiful woman is a beautiful woman — but I just genuinely can’t be ar**d now.’

Gary continued: ‘I just don’t want any more sleeping with someone again…When you get a bit older, that urge fades, your testosterone levels drop. It’s just not that important.

‘I like the fun of flirting, going on dates, kissing and cooking for someone, but that’s about as far as I want to take it.’

The sports presenter confessed that he hasn’t been interested in any of the women he has been on dates with and is really happy on his own.

However, while Gary said he was content with his friends and family around him, he admitted that he could get lonely and need company in his old age.

However, the couple separated in 2016 with reports claiming they had different opinions on starting a family together.
