And Helena Christensen, 52, showcased her model physique in a black satin playsuit on Wednesday as she stepped out in the Big Apple for New York Fashion Week. 

The catwalk legend put on a leggy display in her chic one-piece as she strolled through the city during her evening out.

Helena rounded off the look with black pumps, complete with gold detailing, a sequin clutch and a pendant necklace.

She styled her chestnut locks in effortless waves and enhanced her age-defying complexion with a light palette of make-up.  

Helena made sure to remind fans of her humble beginnings as she took to Instagram in August to share a slew of throwback snaps.

Documenting her pre-teen years, the 52-year-old began with a sweet shot of herself posing in front of an unmistakably 1970s curtain, and joked her fashion sense was always ‘on point.’

Clasping her hands together, Helena wore a burgundy dress over a white shirt, which she paired with an almost knee-high pair of khaki socks in her opening shot.

Sending her followers even further back in time to her pre-school years, the future photographer posed in a chic orange dressing gown alongside a doll in a pushchair.

In the following photo, the tot donned a red long-sleeve tee to blow out her birthday cake candles, complete with Danish flags on top.
