Izzy Judd has given an insight into the birth of her third child Lockie, one week on from the birth.
The musician and her husband, McFly star Harry, welcomed their son a week ago, and as she settles into life as a mum of three, Izzy has shared a touching tribute on Instagram thanking her midwives for their support during labour.
Sharing a photo of herself doing skin to skin with Lockie while posing with her midwife, Izzy gushed that she couldn’t have got through the ‘anxiety’ of the birth without her.

In the accompanying caption, Izzy, who also shares daughter Lola, five, and son Kit, three, with Harry, revealed her third birth had been ‘trickier.’
‘This is Lucy, our unbelievable midwife who not only guided me through a quick labour and a trickier birth as Lockie was back to back,’ Izzy wrote, adding that Lucy ‘has also been there for me since Lola’s pregnancy, answering all my questions and easing my anxieties.’
‘I had another brilliant midwife called Claire and along with Harry, together they created the most amazing circle of support in my most vulnerable place.’

‘The moment Lucy walked in the room last week I knew I was in the safest and kindest hands,’ Izzy, who has been open about her experience with anxiety, continued.
‘My anxiety absolutely peaked and the overwhelm was very intense. Lucy comforted me with words, lavender and an aura of strength and compassion.’
Writing to her midwife, she wrote: ‘Lucy I am so grateful and feel so very lucky to have had you by my side. How do you begin to say thank you? Is there a midwife you want to say thank you to, leave their name in the comments to show our appreciation for all the wonderful midwives!’

And the McFly rocker, 35, and his musician wife, 37, revealed they named their son Lockie Magnus Christopher Judd on Tuesday in a sweet Instagram post.
Sharing a precious family snap of their older children Lola, five and Kit, three, with the newborn, Izzy wrote: ‘meet your brother Lockie.’

Back in August Izzy admitted she struggled with feelings of guilt after finding her pregnancy ‘tough’, as she’s so grateful to be expecting following fertility problems.
The couple welcomed their daughter Lola through in vitro fertilization after suffering a miscarriage, and Izzy fell pregnant naturally with their son Kit.
