Oscar nominee Jake Gyllenhaal congratulated his ‘brilliant’ big sister Maggie on winning breakthrough director at the 11th Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards in LA on Saturday night.
The Oscar nominee – turning 44 this Tuesday – has received rave reviews for her feature directorial debut The Lost Daughter, which hits limited US theaters December 17 before streaming December 31 on Netflix.
The 40-year-old LA native was at the ceremony to present the sound editing trophy to Mandell Winter and David Esparza for their work on Netflix thriller The Guilty.
