Clarkson will invite six new contestants into the Who Wants to be a Millionaire studio tonight as they look to secure one of the biggest and most coveted prizes on television. The Grand Tour star’s broad interests and knowledge are even put to the test on the show as contestants can ask him for help with the tough questions. Clarkson has been busy, also starring in a new series called ‘Clarkson’s Farm’ on Amazon Prime.

However, it was during an instalment of his ITV show where the motor enthusiast mocked Meghan, something that is becoming a bit of a regular occurrence for the TV star.

On the show, which broadcast in April, Clarkson mocked the Duchess of Sussex, joking that Piers Morgan “had a point” following his departure from Good Morning Britain.

On It’s Clarkson on TV, he referenced the Duchess’ interview with Oprah Winfrey.

He said: “There was a moment where Meghan Markle seemed to – how can I put this politely – break wind.”

The show ran a clip of Meghan discussing a time after her wedding to Prince Harry and Oprah responding.

Clarkson added: “Sorry can we just hear that again because it really does sound like Piers Morgan had a point, her pants really were on fire.

“Now I’ve had a note here from the legal department at ITV. They want it to be made plain that that was not a fart, I have no idea how they know that.

“But they want me to make it clear that the fart noise probably came out of Oprah’s mouth.”

One viewer commented on Twitter: “First thing Jeremy Clarkson does on his ITV show tonight is poke fun at Meghan Markle.”

When Harry and Meghan announced they would leave royal duties, Clarkson predicted they would not have a “happy ending.”

“So, she’s obviously decided that if she can’t dine on peach and peacock and have a couple of mermaids in the gin-filled swimming pool, she won’t be opening any new toilet blocks ever again.

“I won’t judge her for that. People are allowed to resign from jobs they don’t like.”

Mr Clarkson also set his sights on the Duke of York saying: “Resigning from the Royal Family? That’s like, you know, BIG. And not just because the next in line to the throne if my family has gone is… Prince Andrew.”
