    Lily Allen makes a low-key departure from 2:22 A Ghost Story show in a brown jumper and baggy black trousers


    She has received rave reviews for her performance in 2:22 A Ghost Story.

    And Lily Allen, 36, was casually-clad as she made a low-key exit from the stage door at London’s Noel Coward Theatre on Friday night.

    The singer-turned-actress cut a relaxed figure in a brown jumper, which she combined with a loose-fitted pair of black trousers.

    Lily kept things comfy in a pair of white trainers and wore her raven locks in a ponytail. 

    The BRIT Award winner clutched a black gift bag and a patterned pink umbrella, having thrown a charcoal jacket over her left arm. 

    She threw a small black leather handbag over her shoulder. The Smile hitmaker went makeup free after the night on stage and climbed into a nearby taxi where she was spotted storing her personal belongings in a large Vivienne Westwood bag.

    It comes after her husband David Harbour, 46, jokingly sent her ‘bad luck’ flowers.

    Taking to Instagram last month following her performance in front of gushing theatre reviewers, Lily shared a note from the Stranger Things actor who remarked that he hoped she wasn’t ‘reviewed well’ as he’ll be ‘miserable.’ 

    Alongside a pretty bunch of flowers, he penned a message which read: ‘My ambitious wife, these are bad luck flowers ’cause if you get reviewed well in this play, you get all kinds of awards and I will be miserable.’  

    The humorous actor signed off with: ‘Your loving husband’.

    Highlighting the fact that she had in fact received great reviews for her performance, Lily hilariously captioned her post: ‘Sad day for @dkharbour.’ 

    Lily’s production, which opened on August 3, received high praise from critics who applauded the ‘macabre playfulness’ of the production and her stellar stage presence.

    The star plays the character Jenny in the thriller about four friends caught up in a night of high tension.

    She is joined on stage by former EastEnders star Jake Wood, City Of Angels actor Hadley Fraser and Julia Chan of Silent House.  

    The play follows Jenny, who believes her new home is haunted but her husband Sam (Hadley) remains skeptical.

    They argue with their first dinner guests, old friend Lauren (Julia) and new partner Ben (Jake) and decide to stay awake until 2.22am to discover the truth.
