Lindsay Lohan and Chord Overstreet in Netflix Christmas rom com

Lindsay Lohan and Chord Overstreet were seen in a first-look image from a currently-untitled Christmas-themed romantic comedy film that was shared on Friday.

The 35-year-old performer and the Glee alum, 32, appeared to be entranced by the holiday spirit as they were pictured spending time together in an area full of snow and shining lights.

The actress was initially confirmed to have been involved with the project earlier this year, and filming is currently underway.

Lohan was costumed in a dark green parka worn on top of a light blue sweater during filming.

The Mean Girls star also donned a lovely plaid scarf that added a little bit of texture to her outfit.

Her gorgeous red locks cascaded onto her shoulders and chest as she spent time with her costar.

Overstreet kept it relatively casual in a fur-lined flannel button-up jacket, and he sported a crimson scarf as well.

Development on the unnamed feature was initially announced in May, when it was revealed by Variety that Lohan was attached to the project. 

Filmmaker Janeen Damian originally signed on the helm the film, and she also wrote its script.

The movie is centered on a self-centered hotel heiress who experiences amnesia after being involved in a skiing accident.

The character is then nursed back to health by a humble lodge owner and his daughter during the holiday season.

Also set to appear in the feature are performers such as Olivia Perez, Jack Wagner and George Young.

Lohan began trending on Twitter not long after her casting in the project was announced.

Filming is currently underway and it does not have a set end date as of yet.

The untitled feature is scheduled to be released on the Netflix streaming service at an unspecified date during the 2022 holiday season.

Lohan’s most recent appearance in a film was in 2019’s Among The Shadows.

Prior to that, the performer appeared in a starring role in the 2013 feature The Canyons, which was directed by Paul Schrader.

She was also featured in several episodes of the black comedy series Sick Note, which starred Rupert Grint and Nick Frost.
