It measures 15 feet by 20 feet. The suspected cause is a burst water main, but this is yet to be confirmed.
Power failures have been reported in L1, L3, L5, L6,L7 and L9.
The outages are being linked to the sinkhole which has caused flooding in the Old Swan area.
