The Queen is “losing her grip on the monarchy,” a royal expert has said. TalkRADIO host Cristo Foufas pointed to the latest tell-all bombshell book to hit the royals, as Tina Brown prepares to release a sequel to The Diana Chronicles. Charlie Rae, the former royal editor at The Sun, told the radio host that people were “lining up to ruin the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee next year”.
The Queen is set to celebrate 70 years on the throne next year as the country holds Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
However, Mr Rae said that the year will be marked by a series of “tell-all bombshell books” about the royals.
He suggested that these book releases threaten to derail the Queen’s celebration plans.
Ms Brown’s book, titled The Palace Papers: Inside The House Of Windsor – The Truth And The Turmoil, will be published just months before Prince Harry’s tell-all memoir, in April

Mr Rae said: “She is promising all sort of revelations.
“She will be discussing Andrew, Harry and Meghan, the Queen.
“I feel sorry for the Queen because there are so many books out next year – not least of all by her grandson who is writing a memoir.
“You would think people were lining up to ruin her Platinum Jubilee next year.”
It was revealed in July that Harry has been writing a memoir for almost a year.
The Duke of Sussex’s book is due to be released in late 2022.
Earlier this week, the Queen appeared in public as she formally opened the new session of the Scottish Parliament.
During her speech at the ceremony, she paid a tribute to “people who have made an extraordinary contribution to the lives of others” during the COVID-19 pandemic
The monarch has been in Scotland on her annual break in Balmoral.
