    Rod Stewart, 76, swaps his Rolls-Royce for a kick scooter as he larks around leafy Beverly Hills estate


    He’s usually seen driving his Rolls-Royce around Beverly Hills.

    Yet Rod Stewart swapped his swanky car for a two-wheel kick scooter in a hilarious Instagram post on Friday. 

    In the funny video, posted to the singer’s 504,000 followers, Rod was seen pushing the scooter around his private estate as he grinned cheekily and promoted his new album.

    The music icon, 76, released his 31st studio album titled The Tears Of Hercules on November 12. 

    Sir Rod has said his latest album was born out of lockdown, noting that it’s ‘the best album he’s made in a long time.’

    He also revealed that one of the songs on the new album, Touchline, was dedicated to his father, who he says taught him and his brothers to love football. 

    Taking to his Instagram account he said: ‘Ladies & Gentlemen I bring you The Tears of Hercules ❤️

    ‘It’s been a wonderful time making this record and I’m so pleased we can finally put it out!’

    He concluded: ‘Make sure you grab a copy through the link in my bio!’ 

    The crooner also disclosed that two tracks on the album – I Can’t Imagine and Precious Memories – are about his wife Penny Lancaster, who he has been happily married to since 2006.

    Rod and Penny share sons Alastair, 15, and Aiden, 10 and Rod has six other children from his previous relationships.

    He shares daughter Renee and son Liam with his second wife Rachel Hunter and children Kimberly and Sean with first wife Alana.

    Rod also has a daughter named Sarah from his relationship with Susannah Boffey in the sixties and shares Ruby with ex Kelly Emberg, who he dated from 1983-1990.
