'Several children' hit in horror car crash – TEN ambulances rush to scene

    At least 10 ambulances have been scrambled to Kirkton Street in Carluke, Lanarkshire this afternoon. Officers from Police Scotland were also said to be in attendance.

    The condition of the youngsters is not yet known.

    In a statement the Scottish Ambulance Service said that “three children have been struck by a car in South Lanarkshire”

    A spokesman added: “We received a call at 3.07pm to attend a road traffic collision on Kirkton Street, Carluke.We’ve dispatched 10 resources to the scene & the incident is still ongoing.”
