A partial solar eclipse now under way in the UK and around the world as the moon begins to pass between the Earth and the sun.
Skygazers will soon be able to see nearly a third of the sun being blocked out by the moon in what is known as an annular eclipse.
One person tweeted: “My less than stunning photo of the partial eclipse #peskyclouds”
A second shard a photo of a cloudy sky, saying: “That eclipse being impressively clear here in Edinburgh!”
