Kevin Carlin, who directed the final two episodes of the hit Aussie prison drama, has now revealed a few secrets about the beloved drama’s epic conclusion.
Carlin told the TV Reload with Benjamin Norris podcast that die-hard fans should expect a thrilling finale – with more than a few shocking moments.

‘Have a blanket, because you might have to pull it over your head from time to time,’ Carlin said.
‘Make sure you’ve got an edge of the seat to sit on, because you will be on the edge of your seat for most of the episode,’ he continued.
The TV director also warned fans to ‘bring a hanky’ to the couch because they will shed tears.

Norris asked the big question on viewers mind, which is whether the audience will see the return of certain characters and cameos.
The TV director gave another ambiguous answer and provided Norris with a simple ‘yes and no’ response.
Carlin added that he didn’t mean to be ‘circuitous’ with his answer, but said it ‘does come back on itself’.

It’s been confirmed that the final episode of the series features several cameos from the stars of Prisoner.
The original drama aired from the late ’70s to mid ’80s and was the inspiration behind Wentworth.
